Letham Grange - Old Course (est. 1987)

Yards: 6632 Holes: 18 Par: 73

Letham Grange's Old Course, with its neighbour the Glen surrounds a mansion house hotel within a walled estate of mature woodland. The Old Course is artistically laid out, yet retains much rugged Scottish appeal. The 8th marks the beginning of the most attractive section of the course, a testing par three over an ornamental lake.

The Letham Grange Old Course is a real golfing treat, both aesthetically and in terms of the level of golf it provides. The perfect complement to the Glen golf course, the Old Course is full of character and charm, and is definitely worth a visit if you're planning a weekend golf break or longer golf holiday in Angus.

Letham Grange Old Course Pro Tips

The many dog leg holes on Letham Grange Old Course ensure that position from the tee is the basis to a good round. Consideration should also be given to dropping down to a three wood or iron from the tee to avoid the dangers of the tree lined fairways. This well-crafted golf course really gives your golf skills a thorough workout, and is a fine example of Scottish golf at its best.
