Membership of the Club confers entitlement to the following upon the holder:
- A personal, numbered and signed Carnoustie Country Overseas Members' Club membership Scroll;

- Four Dream Tickets, each one of which entitles the holder to play one round of golf on Carnoustie's Championship, and one round on Panmure Barry, Monifieth Medal, and Montrose Medal courses (three Open Championship qualifiers) - a total of sixteen rounds of golf on four of the world's best links courses;

The game of golf has been played in Carnoustie for well over four centuries. The first indication that the game was being played there can be found in the Parish Records of 1560 when the game of 'gowff' was mentioned, and the game has played an important role in the area ever since.
Carnoustie's Championship course has become regarded as one of Britain's finest and most challenging courses, and one which is recognised as one of the best-kept courses in the UK, if not the world. Visiting golfers will find a course that is difficult, but still eminently playable. It is, in short, a wonderful test of golf.
Montrose Medal is the fifth oldest golf course in the world, and the Royal and Montrose Golf Club celebrated its bi-centenary in 2010 with a series of tournaments (including a hickory shaft competition) and events.
Both Monifieth Medal and Panmure Barry courses are recognised as superb tests of golf, and present a wonderful opportunity to experience classic Scottish links golf in the ancient heartland of the game.
Associateship of the Carnoustie Country Overseas Members' Club is open to golfers from outside the UK, and the annual fee in 2011 is $3,888 (US).
Visiting Members will receive a personal welcome as honoured guests, with guidance on travel planning and itineraries within the UK.
