The next Tg54 European Junior Open will now take place in 2010
This is a fabulous opportunity for young golfers and their families to experience golf in the classic heartland of the game, and the pleasures of a visit to this beautiful area.
TG54.com have created the European Junior Golf Championship to encourage and highlight the progress of the junior golfers on their development programme, but the championship is open to all junior golfers, regardless of Nationality, under the age of 14 on 1/1/08 and is limited to 30 players per category.
The Championship has six categories under 10, male under 12 and male under 14, female under 10, female under 12 and female under 14. To qualify for a category the player must be under the stipulated age on 1/1/09.
The starting field shall be a maximum of 30 players in each category, 180 players in total and, in the event of an over-entry, the number shall be reduced, where possible, in order of exact handicap and where this is not practicable by ballot. Entrants who have failed to gain entry will be allocated to a reserve list by order of handicap or ballot.
